摘要

Chitosan supported Palladium nanoparticles were synthesized by a simple cost effective chemical reduction method using NaBH_4. The prepared nanocomposite was characterized by X-Ray diffraction analysis, FESEM and Energy dispersive spectroscopy analysis of X-rays (EDAX). The catalytic performance of the nanocomposite was evaluated on the reduction of 2-Nitrophenol to the 2-Amino phenol with rate constant 1.08 × 10~(-3) S~(-1) by NaBH_4 using Spectrophotometer.
