Affordable Motorcycle Antilock Braking System ABS: A significant contribution toward road safety

While the European number of passenger car fatalities has dramatically decreased over the last decade, the number of fatally injured motorcyclists has stayed constant - in some years it even increased. Throughout the world, motorcycles are involved with a large number of severe and fatal accidents. Equipping motorcycles with ABS contribute significantly to the avoidance of traffic accidents by enabling the driver to brake more effectively in critical situations and keeping control at the same time. The life-saving ABS technology which is a standard safety equipment in approx. 80 percent of all vehicles ＜ 6 tons produced worldwide and in all vehicles in Europe, is now on the way of being popularized also for motorcycles.
