摘要

Direct Melting System is a shaft-furnace type gasification and melting technology with 42 references in Japan and South Korea. This gasification technology employs a combustible dust injection system to reduce coke consumption and final landfill amount. The combustible dust reacts with enriched air as a substitute for coke. However, the reaction efficiency of the dust was clarified to be low. In order to improve this efficiency, an air pre-heating system for the combustible dust injection system has been developed, which can improve the reaction kinetics of the combustible dust significantly.
