Key to the success of a product is that these centres work closely together in efficient and effective ways. To be able to this, tools and organisations have to be in place before a new product is being developed. John Deere has designed tools and established an organisation, which is fit for this world-wide environment. Important for the development is also the 6 phase product delivery process (PDP) which precisely defines the necessary steps for a successful product launch.
