摘要

Environmental Organic Geochemistry: Fluoranthene is significantly oxidized at T(velence)100 deg C in the presence of limestone (CaCO_(3)) and clay. Major reaction products present GPC apparent molecular weights up to 1500 Da, while APPI-QTOF allowed true mass measurements up to 1080 Da (80 carbon atoms). This technique allowed to identified homologous series of polycondensed or polymerized products to be detected. These results confirm that low temperature air oxidation catalyzed by minerals may be an effective mechanism of PAHs immobilization in p olluted soils. GPC-APPI-QTOF: This system, after optimization, allowed us to drastically reduce ionization competition and permitted to detect heavier compounds than in direct injection mode i.e. compounds with a molecular mass up to 1300 Da.
