Voith Paper carried out extensive R&D efforts in order to understand the mechanism of thermal reactivity in paper during the copying process. The target was to develop a machine concept for copy paper in order to obtain the best curl results without compromising other parameters like formation or porosity. Additionally, the concept should provide a wide operating window with respect to furnish composition.
