Evaluation of Plasma Extract Cleanliness using Various Commercially Available Mixed-mode Resin-based Cation Exchange SPE Sorbents

Comparison of overall ion suppression using FIA-MS/MS shows EVOLUTE CX to give better matrix factors than the two competitor sorbents tested. Chromatographic ion suppression showed 8 of 11 analytes resulted in improved matrix factors using EVOLUTE CX at both concentrations tested. More suppression was observed late on in the chromatogram for EVOLUTE CX. In conclusion, plasma extract cleanliness was superior using EVOLUTE CX.
