The authors analyze the kinematic characteristics and the stress distribution of granular material, give the condition of boundary formation of free surface and the criterion for determination of its type, and derive the stress function and the pressure distribution on screw surface, screw shaft and tube wall. On the basis, authors set up the model of simulating and calculating for the transporting process of material.
