What happens when your ERP Vendor is acquired and the cost of ownership is increasing, i.e. maintenance charges go up? This case study analyzes options available to enterprises to minimize these maintenance costs. It provides a set of evaluation criteria to make one of the following choices: Negotiate a long term maintenance contract with the vendor; Research alternate support models with lower costs; yet maintain current support levels; Evaluate other ERP Vendors & replace current software.
