摘要

This paper provides an overview of a production and operations management comparative practices project. The project incorporates elements from all four phases of Kolb's experiential learning model. Using all four elements provides the richest learning environment, and is necessary for a complete learning process. The project also gives students the ability to develop critical thinking skills and practical operations management implementation experience. In addition to the learning opportunities for students, this project also provides a way to develop better ties with local organizations.
