A practical computational tool to predict formulation and process variables during the development of spray-dried amorphous solid dispersions

The aim of this work is to demonstrate the implementation of a computational tool to guide the early identification of potential physically stable amorphous dispersion formulations. The practical utility of this tool will be demonstrated as part of a new screening protocol that has been developed to accelerate the development of pharmaceutical amorphous solid dispersions produced by spray-drying. This methodology enables the narrowing of the scope of formulations, identifying more rapidly suitable systems to be scaled- up.
