Thermoluminescence of Wheat Leaves Treated with the Plant Activator BION

It is shown that the effect of plant activator BION (CGA 245704) on the thermoluminescence (TL) of wheat leaves depends on the concentration, number of treatments, and the duration of seeds storage. In the case of 1992 year seeds, there was an increase in TL intensity in the region 40-80 deg C (band C) after the first treatment with BION. In the case of 2001 years ones, there was the increase in TL band A reflecting stimulant effect of BION on photosynthetic activity, and also the increase in TL band C, but after the second treatment only. It is supposed that high doses of BION can lead to some disturbances in chloroplasts membranes functions.
