1. Congenital oropharyngeal teratoma is rare2. It can be readily diagnosed during routine antenatal ultrasound3. A well planned delivery allows acute control of the neonatal airway4. The child is then fully investigated radiolog-ically5. Surgical resection of the lesion is undertaken in the early neonatal period6. Other anomalies must be treated and plans made for facial reconstruction as appropriate
