A Study on the Design Interpretation through Communication Phenomena

In multi - cultural era, we are able to share the time and space with communications, even in the situation which separates them. We are performing various ways of communications not only for the communications between humans, but also for the connections between cultures. The design, the representative area which physically reflects the culture as it visualizes, is considered to be the field which is mostly reflected by cultures as it shows the spirit of the times such as thoughts and conceptions of the era. The design is created within the dynamic structures which are experienced, manufactured and reproduced in a daily life. Through this, if we can interpret the sections performed in all design areas, it will be a lot easier to read the intention that a design wants to deliver. Therefore, the modem cultures which design represents have to be studied as a phenomenon of communications between each other. This research is about how to understand designs from different cultures, and how to expand the visions. Therefore we need to more closely investigate designs and cultures, and recognize the communications between them. As far as the design performs importantly for conducting cultural life for the higher quality, it is expected to expand design as an important cultural behavior, while creating and interpreting this through communication methods.
