The main aim of this contribution is a description of an influence of enzymatic and chemical pretreatment on the separation tendency of flax fibrous bundles. For characterization of bundling tendency the distribution of bundles has been created. The number of ultimate fibers in bundles and number of bundles has been estimated form digital cross section images by using of image analysis system Lucia. The frequency of bundles exceeding some limit sizes is computed.
