摘要

Modal analysis is a very powerful tool which is commonly used to determine the eigensolutions of complex structures using data tests. People who perform the tests generally identify complex eigensolutions which are useful to compare both synthesized and measured transfer functions. A good agreement between these FRF gives a proof of validity of the identified modal data. But if modal analysis has been performed to validate a finite element model of a structure, it requires the knowledge of the real eigensolutions of the associated conservative system (ACS). So, in few situations, it can be convenient to identify both complex and real eigensolutions.
