摘要

Virtual production of two types of plastic mould blocks has been carried out in this paper. Two methods, including the water quenching method with pre-cooling and self-tempering for P20 steel mould block and the integrated pre-cooling with short-time immersion water quenching method for 718 steel mould block, are developed. Both methods not only can effectively avoid quenching crack and obtain deeper harden depth than oil or polymer solution quenching, but also can improve the microstructure and properties of the large-sized mould block. Moreover, these methods will not produce any harmful pollution to the environment.
