摘要

Development of efficient methods for the preparation of substituted pyrroles is a very important issue due to their utility as medicinal agents, functional materials and so on. There have been developed many methods for the synthesis of this important class of compounds, however, only a few [4+1] type cycloaddition reactions for the synthesis of pyrroles have been reported and most of them were the reactions of α,β-unsaturated imines and carbene species. In this paper, we report a rhodium-catalyzed intermolecular [4+1] type cycloaddition reactions of α,β-unsaturated imines with terminal alkynes to give substituted pyrrole derivertives.
