The paper gives the results of the research of the problem effluent treatment from vanadium in the process of working, for example uranium raw materials, which can be solved with the help of synthesized materials on the basis of diatomic phenols. Sorbents have high sorptive capacity and selectivity coefficient. Polymers based on resorcinol more stabling weak acid medium and inert atmosphere, based on pyrocatechol better sustain to alkaline solution in comparison with resorcinol and hydroquinone. Sorption characteristics of natural polymers can be improved by the way of modification of their structure by the insertion of organic reagent in the sorbent molecule, particularly of aminofenol compounds. For reference sorption properties nontreated and modified diatomic phenol shungits was explored sorption zinc from standardized test solutions. Research results show that thermal processing of shungit and modification it by organic reagent considerably increase ionits capacity improving sorption properties of material.
