In late 2011 Rumpke Recycling, based in Dayton, Ohio will begin operating one of the most modern waste glass processing plants in the world. Binder+Co AG, an Austrian company and a market leader in technologies for waste glass processing, designed a tailor-made plant for the specific needs of Rumpke Recycling and its customers. Sophisticated state-of-the-art machinery will be used to separate contaminants from a raw feedstock to produce two valuable products -glass cullet, colour separated and cleaned for the glass bottle manufacturing industry, and high quality glass powder used by the fibreglass insulation manufacturing industry.
