In order to develop the simple network model of interstitial flow trough a packed bed, void space obtained by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were divided into two types of polygon. One is tetrahedron surrounded by four beads and the other is pentahedron surrounded by three beads and the wall of the packed bed. By constructing closed circuits of polygons, flow rate through each polygon was calculated and compared with the velocity map measured by MRI.
