In biologic and chemical analysis system, both of high-speed analysis and real time data processing is important. A kind of microfludic sample, separation and dynamic process instrument has been built and tested. A typical sample stacking and separation image obtained with this instrument Preliminary on-chip reaction experiments are imaged using this detection system. The system based on focusing an expanded laser beam onto chip using a cylindrical lens then detecting the separated signal with a photomultiplier tube (PMT) is illustrated. Excellent signal/noise ratio was obtained while compared with traditional electrophoresis methods.
