In this research, the implementation for measuring dynamic computer-numerically controlled (CNC) contour using the position silicon detectors (PSD) was investigated. The motivation behind this work is the desire to perform rapid, simplicity of setup, low cost and pre-process verification of CNC contouring path. This reduces scrap and increase process efficiency. The integrated Dual Laser PSDs System (DLPS) was designed, constructed and tested in this paper. Complete setups and procedures for dynamic contouring error and geometric error verification were also clearly presented. Experimental results showed that more information on analyzing the types of errors can be obtained and the performance of verification can be further improved.
