The LIGO project is developing a software toolbox for time-domain simulation of gravitational-wave detectors. This toolbox, the LIGO End-to-End simulation package, is being utilized to build a model of the two-kilometer interferometer presently being installed at the LIGO Hanford Observatory. This model is intended to aid in the shakedown and integration of the interferometer subsystems, and ultimately the optimization of detector sensitivity.
