Co-ordinated development of rules and regulations for safe transports of dangerous goods

Many countries all ove the world has recognised the need for improved standards regarding safe transports of dangerous goods. The extraordinary rapid development in the technical, industrial and economical area especially inAsia has led to increased movements of people and goods inclduing hazardous materials, not only within the countries but also over the borders to neighbouring countries. Furthermore the number of different hazardous materials in use and the quantities have increased and are still increasing rapidly.
