Simulation and planning capabilities as integrated components for CAM-programming

In summary the paper discussed the traditional approach for NC-programming in today's IT and process environment and showed possible areas to further improve manufacturing processes and CAM programming systems to fulfil the requirements of a truly virtual product development and a further decrease of development cycles on the manufacturing side.
