The effects of space charge on insulating properties of modified epoxy resin system DGEBA/MDAISN was studied by using DSC and TSC. Three characteristic TSC peaks in the temperature range from -150 to 250°C, consisting of aβ peak at 162.1°Candγ and 235L?below zero, were observed. T{sub}p moved towards lower temperature with increasing SN contents. Space charge accumulated around the defects and impurities changes the electric field and initiates the electrical treeing deterioration.
