Analogy as a Basis of Various Forms of Reasoning

We present a model of analogy, on the basis of a link between variables and measures of comparison of values of variables, in the framework of fuzzy logic. This model is compatible with the analogical reasoning described in psychology. With suitable choices of its parameters, this model can cover several forms of reasoning which are generally regarded as fundamentally different.
