Dating of Yanwo Lake Deposits, Antarctica

摘要

C dating of terrestrial moss from Yanwo lake deposits. Antarctica was carried out by using accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS). The results show that the lake deposits liuve been accumulated since the late glaciation about 13,000 years ai a rate ot 0.03-0.11 cm/a. The validity nt "C ages or Antarctic lake deposits was discussed in term of the latitude effect of '*C productivity, the reservoir effect, the environment effect and hard water effect.
