Natural Stone Slab Combined with Wood - an Interesting New Building Material

During the year 1995 a new type of composition material was introduced by the Finnish stone producer Ericstone Ltd. The idea of this innovation has been to combine wood with stone so that the best properties of the both materials are achieved. The result of the development work is that now there exists a light and flexible building material with durable stone surface. This combination of properties opens many possibilities for the material to be used for example in room fittings and furniture production. The special manufacturing process of this Ericstone slab is also under controll and protected by a patent.
