Solution of Sediment Problems for Hydro Cascade on Mountain River

摘要

The solutions of problems relted to sedimentation in the Nizhne-Cherek hydro cascade reservoirs and to protection of the cascade structures and equipment against sediment are presented. The prognosis of changes in river processes connected to cascade construction were made using numerical modelling. Physical modelling was used to investigate anti-sedimen structures. As a result of the study some new solutions are offered.
