Processing of wood waste for re-utilisation and for providing a source of energy

The introduction of new laws in Germanycovering the treatment and/or disposal of waste has broughtabout radical changes which affect the wood processing andwoodworking industries. From now on, increased demand forrecycled material can be expected, which in turn will placehigher demands on product quality and plant capacity. Thiscontribution looks at the equipment and process engineeringaspects of a wood waste recycling plant. Ancillary equipment,such as dust collecting and safety equipment is also dealt with briefly.
