The paper presents the results of an investigationon the accuracy of a control system for the flotation tailings ashcontent and the flotation reagents consumption using differentcontrol structures. The following algorithms have been used:prediction controller Phillipson 's controller, P, PI, PIDcontroller. An analysis of these systems was made usingsimulation methods based on a mathematical dynamic model ofa flotation machine. Rules of a control algorithm parameterdesign are discussed. The optimum structure and controlalgorithms with regard to the control evaluation criterion have been determined.
