For accurate and reliable analysis of visual evoked potential (EP) signals, one can utilize a time-frequency analysis technique called the wavelet transform. Because the wavelet transform decomposes time-varying EP signals into dilated lowpass components and contracted highpass components, the wavelet analysis of the EP can utilize the high frequency components which were embedded in the regular EP signal. In this paper, the authors present EP signal features which are obtained at the low and high frequency regions at the levels of resolution used.
