In this paper, the regression equations of the error transfer coefficient (ETC) for the experimental planar linkage mechanism for pair clearances are obtained by utilizing the Monte-Carlo simulation method. Based upon this, a correction procedure and the correction coefficient of the regression equation are presented for the practical planar linkage mechanism. The study result shows that the ETC of planar linkages with pair clearance have the same form while the dimension type is identical.
