The segregation of particles size with a wide size range in a CFB was investigated experimentally. It is shown that particles size segregation strongly happens and axile and. radial particles size segregation mainly depends on the operating parameters. Meanwhile, hydrodynamic phenomena of fast fluidized bed of coarse particles with a wide size range has been investigated. Experiments reveal that only instantaneous stripe-like particle accumulation flows down near wall and no cluster is observed.
