摘要

In this paper the impact of electric vehicle charging stations(EVCS) on unbalance radial distribution system(URDS) is analyzed and compensated using reconfiguration using one of the successful heuristic algorithms and origin the era of swarm based optimization called particle swarm optimization (PSO). The objective for optimal placement of EVCS and optimal reconfiguration is the minimization of losses in the system. The methodology is tested on 19 bus URDS. The paper is also covered the impact of EVCS size on the total load of the system with and without reconfiguration of URDS.
