摘要

This paper analyses the behaviour of the excitation current of square-wave excited ring-core fluxgate, and provides a robust sizing methodology of the core and its excitation circuit. Experimental results obtained on a small ring core with a diameter of 3.2 mm are in very good agreement with the theoretical prediction. This study paves the way to the design of robust square wave excited fluxgate sensor.
