The uneven mechanical stress distribution in high-voltage cables is an important cause of frequent cable faults. In order to study the mechanical stress distribution of high-voltage cable laying under high drop terrain conditions, the ANSYS three-dimensional simulation model of high-voltage cable laying was established, and the local damage, side pressure and axial direction of mechanized construction and traditional laying methods were compared and analyzed.
