摘要

This study aimed to develop a numerical model for waves and waveinducedcurrents with turbulence effects due to wave breaking aroundsubmerged breakwaters. In the wave model, the wave breakingdeformation on the submerged breakwaters, wave regeneration afterbreaking, and the second breaking processes were all investigated. In thewave-induced current model, the eddy viscosity coefficient wasdetermined from the one-equation turbulence model to consider a wavebreaking turbulent process. The computed results obtained from thenumerical model were compared with the experimental results and fieldmeasurements. These comparisons demonstrated the applicability of themodel.
