The numerical simulations using Finite Volume Coastal Ocean Model(FVCOM) forced by the eight tidal component (S2, M2, N2, K2, K1, P1,O1, Q1), river discharge, and wind speed was conducted to clarify theconditions that caused marine debris to reach the Ube Port from the rivermouth of Yamakuni River on July 2012. Marine debris was modeled tobe particles whose behaviors observed by Lagrangian method with animprovement that include a wind component directly driving the debris.It was found that wind plays the most important role at drifting theparticles across Suo-Nada.
