摘要

New approaches for dissociating NOx directly are testedfrom various aspects which are classified basically as catalyst effect,plasma effect and their mixing effects(not the same stage) atatmospheric pressure. However, there may be some problems about theconversion rate, the selectivity of catalyst, the power efficiency ofplasma, the thermal stability and the endurance life when consideringapplying these technologies to production. We propose a new device whichis named catalyst and plasma treatment (CAPT). This is in order to solvethe above problems in the case of NOx, COx, SOx and so on. The CAPTdevice may have the possibility of direct dissociation in the abovetoxic gaseous species which may react under both catalyst and plasmaeffects at the same stage by applying fundamentally the reed switchconfiguration
