Abstract: A brief comparison of various types of lasers of 50 -100 kW power range for industrial use is presented,taking into account the most important technical andeconomic details. Listed is consumption of fuel, gascomponents, water, atmospheric air, also electric powerrequired for some of lasers described. Its emphasizedthat the most prospective is high power laser ofgas-dynamic type. It is featured by the outstandingweight-dimensions and specific characteristics.Essential advantage of the proposed gas-dynamic mobilelaser is independence of stationary supply of electricpower generally required for other types. Combined withindependence of electric power plant, the totality ofits technical properties, reliability and relativelylow operation expenses makes it especially attractivesolution of wide range of technological problems likeworn reactors utilization, heavy- gauge metal cutting,thin oil films water pollution, etc., namely by meansof autonomous mobile technological gas-dynamic laser(AMT GDL). !9
