Strategic innovation in the last decade: Review and bibliometric analysis

摘要

During the last decade, the industry has evolved in order to adapt itself to the new demands for products and services using innovation as a tool for positioning in the global market; In this context, scientific literature has been published on strategic innovation and its applications in companies. This article presents a bibliometric analysis based on the literature indexed in the Scopus database, related to the topic of strategic innovation during the 2011-2020 period. The study is based on the analysis of bibliometric indicators produced on 369 documents. There are presented the main countries, institutions, authors, and related topics, furthermore, the analysis of areas and fields used by Scopus for research. The results provide the investigation trends and the route for the development of future research on the subject.
