Previous researches have suggested that psychological capital has important effect on career success, but the mediation mechanism of psychological capital works is poorly understood. A chain mediation model was constructed in this study, exploring the influence of psychological capital, person-organization fit and career commitment on the career success of internet e-commerce staff. 308 participants were included, the results showed that the psychological capital has significant positive effect on career success. Psychological capital can indirectly affect career success through three path: through the mediating role of person-organization fit; through the mediating role of career commitment; through the chain mediating role of person-organization fit and career commitment. The results showed that the realization of the career success of the internet e-commerce staff should not only attach importance to separate individual factors, organizational factors, more should attach great importance to the interaction of these factors.
