With the depletion of traditional energy sources, microgrid control technology represented by VSG has received extensive attention. In order to overcome the shortcomings of traditional VSG control methods, such as long transient time and over-damped operation mode, An alternating adaptive control strategy by changing the moment of inertia and damping coefficient of VSG was established by further analyzing the influence of moment of inertia and damping coefficient on the dynamic output characteristics of VSG and verified by simulation on MATLAB/Simlink platform. The theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the control method can compensate for the above defects.
