Cooperative new flow handling scheme for wireless multi-hop software defined networks

This paper proposes a Cooperative New Flow Handling (CNFH) scheme for wireless SDN enabled massive Machine-type communications (mMTC) network which aims to reduce the overall control message volume towards the controller under flow table inconsistency condition. To achieve this goal, CNFH makes use of neighbouring devices' forwarding functionality to conduct a localized policy searching mechanism. Stochastic geometry is adopted this work to carry out a theoretical analysis while simulation results, from the other hand, demonstrate that CNFH has a better performance when the density of the MTC network is high.
