In recent years a growing interest has been devoted to the study of tiny glass coaled magnetic microwires (metallic diameter typically between 1 and 30 μm) mainly owing to their excellent magnetic properties (magnetic testability, GMI effect...) useful for technological applications in sensor devices [1,2]. The internal stresses induced by the glass coating give rise to magnetoelastic energy that may deteriorate the magnetic softness. Consequently, glass coated microwires need special processing in order to improve their magnetic softness as has been recently reported [3].
