NiFe/FeCo/NiFe sandwich films show soft magnetic properties with high saturation magnetization of 2.4T [1], even though the FeCo alloy shows large linear magnetostriction constants. In the present study, the NiFe/FeCo/NiFe sandwich films were prepared using UHV sputtering process with various film deposition conditions to examine the soft magnetic properties relating to microstructure.
