Coherent Emission in Optically Transparent Nanoporous Anodic Alumina Films

摘要

We report lasing in optically transparent nanoporous anodic alumina wherein the amplifying dye automatically circulates in the nanopores by a wetting process. Polarization study of the output light confirms that waveguiding effects dominate over random lasing effects in the film.
